Lumber yard still for sale, inventory auction planned

A delivery of construction materials to the former Lake City Lumber lumber yard in Lake City on April 19 is not a sign that the business is poised tot reopen.

“Siwiek Lumber from St. Paul purchased the remaining inventory and equipment only,” said realtor Larry Nielson, the listing agent for the property on S. 8th Street. “They are moving excess and/or old inventory in from their other stores and will be having an auction in mid-May to sell it all off.”
