MnDOT: Brief traffic delays at Hwy. 61 railroad bridge in Red Wing

Highway 61 motorists may experience brief traffic delays on April 28 at the Canadian Pacific Railway south of Red Wing while crews finish the final layer of paving, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The last final layer of pavement was not completed in 2024. During the paving operation on Monday, April 28, motorists will be stopped by flaggers at each end to allow vehicles to take turns in traveling through the construction zone. If weather is too wet, the paving work will be completed on April 29.
