More details emerge on potential affordable housing project

A public meeting on a potential affordable housing project at the former Cemstone site in Lake City will take place Monday, May 3, at 6 p.m. on Zoom.

Named Underwood Terrace after Anna Underwood, one of Lake City’s early leading citizens, the proposed 32-unit complex would be a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with detached garages. The facility will also include a community room, a supportive service office staffed by a Three Rivers Community Action case manager to provide services to tenants, and a property management office.
