Wed, 02/06/2019 - 3:23pm
On Friday, Feb. 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., people can visit the Goodhue County History Center to view the new art installation, Charcoal and Persimmon: A Textile Travelogue, by Dawn Zero Erickson.
Using traditional textile techniques, iconic Japanese objects, treasures, and motifs, each piece is hand-dyed, stitched and constructed to capture Japan from a traveler-explorer’s discoveries and a lifetime fascination with this ancient culture.
