New Port Authority director sees great opportunity in Lake City
Doug Grout is hitting the ground learning.
The new executive director of the Lake City Port Authority said he’s been “immersing myself in the program and the activities and the history not only of the Port Authority, but the Economic Development Authority.”
The Lake City Economic Development Authority was the forerunner to the Lake City Port Authority.
Grout comes to the Port Authority from Semcac, a nonprofit community action agency primarily serving counties in southeastern Minnesota.
