Nichols files to run for mayor of Lake City

Rasmussen, Peters and Malcolmsen file for City Council
Mark Nichols, who led a community-wide planning effort last fall, wants to be Lake City’s next mayor.
Nichols filed to run for office Tuesday as the two-week filing period opened.
Three people, including incumbent Andru Peters, filed for City Council.
The two newcomers to file for council on the first day were Russell Malcomson and Mary Jane Rasmussen.
