No filers so far for school board

As of Tuesday, Aug. 6, a week before the Aug. 13 deadline, no candidates had filed for the four seats on the Lake City School Board up for election this fall.
School board members serve four-year terms and oversee school district operations, which include Bluff View Elementary School, Lincoln High School, and Lake City Community Education.
