One injured in cluster of crashes on March 15

Three separate crashes involving a total of seven vehicles happened in less than an hour along the same stretch of Highway 61 south of Lake City Tuesday morning. One person was injured.

The first happened at about 8:11 a.m. at milepost 68 in Mount Pleasant Township, according to the State Patrol.

A Ford F-250 was southbound when it lost control on the icy roads and was struck by a southbound Honda CR-V.
