One new school board member elected

A newcomer to public office, Michelle Larson, was elected to the Lake City School Board Tuesday.

She was one of four people elected to the board from a field of seven candidates and was the third highest vote-getter.

Patrick Dwelle was re-elected to the board with the highest total, 2,710 votes. Heath Oeltjen was re-elected with 2,585. Larson had 2,498. Jack Rol was re-elected with 1,910 votes.

Kevin Pavelka, who had 1,879 votes was not re-elected to the board.
