The Lake City Port Authority voted to approve the sale of its property at 303 S. Lakeshore Drive.
The Kwik Trip company purchased the now-former gas station property in 2014 and donated it to the Lake City Economic Development Authority, which this year was superseded by the Lake City Port Authority.
It sits at one of the city’s busiest intersections, the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Marion Street. To its south is McCahill Park and to its east are four properties owned by David and Linda Rodewald that occupy the rest of the block.
