Port Authority director posting gets six applicants
Six people have applied to be the next director of the Lake City Port Authority and five of those six met the minimum qualifications for the position, according to Lake City City Administrator Rob Keehn.
“My goal is to have a candidate for the City Council to approve at the Sept. 9 regular council meeting,” he said.
Separately, the city is also seeking a planning and community development director and hopes to have someone in that role later this year.
