School Board approves 2-year contract with teachers union

The Lake City School Board unanimously approved a two-year contract with the district's teachers union at a special meeting Tuesday, Aug. 25. Board member Pat Dwelle was absent.
Under the agreement, the teachers will receive a 2 percent raise the first year of the contract and a 3 percent raise the second.
