School district honors retiring board members Dawn Balow, Kevin Pavelka

Lake City Public Schools honored two board members with a combined tenure of over 30 years on the Lake City School Board at their final regular board meeting on Dec. 16.
Dawn Balow leaves the school board as its longest-serving member at 24 years.
Kevin Pavelka has served eight years on the board.
Neither filed for re-election in the Nov. 5 general election this year.
