Several groups planning for Lake City's future
All around Lake City people are making plans for the future.
On Monday night, the City Council spent an hour identifying goals for the city ahead of their regular council meeting.
On Tuesday night, 16 members of the Chamber of Commerce put in three hours developing a strategic plan for that organization.
Twenty-five other organizations in Lake City, big and small, have been encouraged to carry out similar exercises.
The coordinated planning will serve a dual purpose.
