Six file for four school board seats

Barring any last minute withdrawals, six people will vie for four seats on the Lake City Public Schools School Board in the Nov. 8 general election.

All four incumbents -- Heath Oeltjen, Kevin Pavelka, Patrick Dwelle and Jack Rol -- are seeking re-election.

Seeking a first term on the board will be Michelle Larson and Lisa Orke.

The seven-member board oversees budgets, staffing, policies and more for Lake City Public Schools, which serves over 1,200 students and the greater community through its community education department.
