Smith named city planner

With the unanimous approval of the Lake City City Council on Feb. 13, Megan Smith became the leader of a leaner city planning and community development department.
Smith has served as the city’s interim director of planning and community development since her predecessor, Rob Keehn, left the city for a job in the private sector.
