SMMPA members are honored for energy efficiency

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized SMMPA and its 18-member municipal utilities with a 2016 Energy Star Partner of the Year – Energy Efficiency Program Delivery Award for their efforts to increase the adoption of energy-efficient products.
SMMPA and its members’ accomplishments will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 13. Lake City is one of the 18 partner cities.
