State denies homeowners' attempt to detach from City of Wabasha

A request by a number of Sand Prairie residents to detach from the City of Wabasha has been denied by the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings.
County Administrator Michael Plante announced this decision during the meeting of the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners at their regular meeting on Aug. 25. All commissioners were present, along with Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
