Study: City needs housing of all kinds, but especially for young people, seniors

The main finding of a new housing study approved by the Lake City City Council on July 8 probably won’t come as a surprise to many: The city has a shortage of housing.

But the Lake City Port Authority, which commissioned Maxfield Research and Associates to conduct the study, believes the detailed information about Lake City’s housing market will prove helpful.
