Three providers leave as Mayo Lake City adopts team care model
No one directly involved is saying why two doctors and one nurse practitioner are all leaving Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City on the same day, but their departures come as Mayo is implementing a new care model that will impact where and under what circumstances providers will meet face to face with patients.
Dr. Dennis Spano, Dr. John Renelt, and Kayla Dascher, a nurse practitioner, have submitted their resignations, according to a Mayo news release. Their last day will be July 10.
