Time to line up block parties for National Night Out
The Lake City Police Department is seeking hosts for block parties around Lake City for National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
National Night Out is an effort by the non-profit National Association of Town Watch in the United States and Canada to deter and solve crime by building relationships among neighbors and between citizens and police. In addition to Lake City Police Officers making the rounds, there will be fire, ambulance and city elected officials.
