Six file for Lake City City Council
Six candidates had filed for three available seats on the Lake City City Council as of 2 p.m., May 31, the last day of filing, according to the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
Incumbents Faye Brown, Amy Kohrs Alkire, and Russell Boe are seeking re-election. Also filing were John Mortenson, former City Council member Andru Peters, and Tom Rasmussen.
Filing hadn't closed as of the Graphic going to press Tuesday.
