A nighttime drive along a Frontenac State Park hiking trail on April 4 turned out badly, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Derek Schneider, the DNR Conservation Officer who responded to the call, said: “A motorist drove down hiking trails in the state park at night and became stuck on a slope. No reason for driving on the trails and clearly made a bad decision. Vehicle was removed a few days later when the hiking trails dried up. No damage to the vehicle and minimal damage to the hiking trail.”
