Wabasha County approves CUP requests in Pepin and Greenfield townships

Wabasha County Commissioners on Sept. 3 approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request by Thomas Rothering to operate a lodging establishment in Pepin Township, with conditions as recommended by the County Planning Commission.

Rothering and his wife, Stephanie, own the Bending River Cove resort. It adjoins Camp Lacupolis, a fishing camp about eight miles south of Lake City along Highway 61.
