Wabasha County Board considers solar energy options

Following discussion led by County Administrator Michael Plante, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners, by consensus, called for a presentation from one of the two companies under consideration to provide a solar energy program for the county. Solar Stone will make the presentation. The other firm under consideration was Geronimo Energy.
All commissioners were present for the May 17 meeting, along with Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
