Wabasha County chips in to oppose dredge plan

At their Aug. 22 meeting, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to work in a collaborative effort with the City of Wabasha to contest the plan put forth by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to dump millions of cubic yards of dredge materials onto privately-owned property in Wabasha County.
Commissioner Don Springer was absent from this meeting. County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly were also present.
