Wabasha County leaders 'cautiously optimistic' about forthcoming dredge proposal

The Oct. 17 meeting of the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners was very brief because of the scheduled road tour with County Engineer Dietrich Flesch. 

Commissioner Don Springer was absent.  County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly were present.

Plante and several Commissioners have been taking time to attend meetings with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding the Corps’ plans for dumping  dredge sand in the county, more specifically, the city limits of Wabasha.
