When someone is sexually assaulted, someone is waiting for the call
Susan Draves doesn’t go anywhere without a cell phone dedicated to the sexual assault hotline number.
When she doesn’t have it, her colleague Laura McDonough is carrying it.
If the phone rings and it is an emergency, Susan and Laura must be able to reach the scene in 30 minutes anywhere in Goodhue or Wabasha County.
The hotline phone number is 1-800-519-6690.
The two sexual assault advocates provide direct, immediate support for people who have been victims of sexual assault.
