WideSpot PAC to hold gumbo cook-off Feb. 25
Ten local contestants will compete for votes in a gumbo cook-off Feb. 25 at WideSpot Performing Arts Center in Stockholm, Wis.
Doors open early and gumbo will be served at 6 p.m. Votes will be tallied at 7 p.m. and the top three “Peoples Choice” awards will be announced at 7:30 p.m.
The cook-off is paired with a Wisconsin-style Mardi Gras celebration, with local musician Ollie Foran performing. Ollie brings New Orleans up stream with his distinctive sound.
