Work ongoing on sidewalk, tracks

Ongoing sidewalk and rail work in Lake City is causing detours for foot and vehicle traffic.

CPKC Railroad track project

Two railroad crossings in Lake City closed Friday, July 11, as CPKC Railroad continued work on its tracks and crossings in the area.

Vehicle traffic on Goodhue County Road 5 (Grant Street) was detoured to the Monroe Street crossing.

Traffic on U.S. Hwy. 63 (Lyon Avenue) was detoured to Wabasha County Road 9 (Lakewood Avenue).
