Firemen’s dance comes home on July 7

After many years in the marina beach parking lot at Ohuta Park, the Lake City Firemen’s Dance is returning July 7 to the Lake City Fire Hall on the 200 block of South High Street.
Lake City firefighter Derek Nibbe is the chairperson of this year’s dance. He said a few factors influenced the decision to move the event back to the fire hall.
For one thing, people were asking about it, he said.
