Band director: Thanks for another successful year
To the editor:
What a wonderful place Lake City is to be a band director!
As we wrap up another successful summer marching season I want to say “great job” to all who helped the students of the 2017 band succeed.
This year has reminded me of the importance of our school music programs and in particular the Tiger Band. With the recent passing of long time Lake City teachers Steve Ritzenthaler and Bob Ruberto we are all reminded of the impact music and positive experience have in a student’s life.
