Boe: Three-lane is a winner from a safety and financial perspective

To the editor:
I’m writing today to share why I think the best course of action for Lake City is to convert Minnesota State Highway 61 to a three-lane highway.
There are some aspects of this project, such as potential bike lanes, parking spaces vs. turn lanes, and potential beautification of downtown, that we can, and should debate about over the next two-to-three years to ensure we get them right.
