Condos are welcome, but let’s move and preserve historic architecture
I was pleased to read that that Lake City Board of Adjustment approved the density increase for the downtown condominium project.
I’m in favor of having this project built because it would replace a blighted area with an attractive condominium containing 26 residential units.
Having more people living downtown will mean more customers for downtown stores and restaurants. It’s just as well that the building doesn’t include any retail space since we have many vacant storefronts in the downtown area.
