Leaning toward Putin

Two recent incidents in the news, one originating in the United States the other in Russia require a comparison.
The incident in Russia began in February 2022 at the outbreak of Russian’s invasion of Ukraine. Ksenia Karlina, with dual citizenship in Russia and the United States, was living in Los Angles at this time. She made a $50 or so donation to an organization supporting Ukraine early in the conflict with Russia.
