Letter: 200 summer guests welcomed
To the editor:
We often hear the term “It takes a village…,” and this past weekend was a wonderful time in the ‘village’ of Lake City.
It was so much fun to see so many people out enjoying our lovely “city” (since hardly any community calls themselves a “village” anymore, but I digress.) Hundreds, if not thousands of people were milling around Lake City taking in the Washington Art Fest, the Para-Fest and the seventh annual Welcome Breakfast at the American Legion Club.
