Letter: Care Center class needs volunteers
To the editor:
My mom has been a resident at the Mayo Clinic Health System - Lake City Care Center for the past two years plus now and because of that, I have gotten involved with the care center too. I am amazed at the quality of the facility, the care, the staff, the activities, the food, the atmosphere, and the management. I shouldn’t have to say I’m amazed, it should be a given, but from past experience visiting relatives and friends in nursing homes, I remember quite a different experience.
