Letter: Is compromise feasible?
To the editor:
I would like to share my thoughts on Highway 61 from the current four-lane road to a three-lane conversion which will consist of two driving lanes and a turning lane. I want to preface my comments by saying I am approaching this issue through the lens of being an elected official. No matter how this decision ultimately turns out by the City Council, there will a group of people who are unsatisfied with the decision; in other words, it is a no-win vote for council members.
