Letter: Expand plans for beach house

To the editor:
When will Lake City wake up and realize what a gem we have with a beach so close to downtown?
There are those that say the beach does not get used. I beg to differ.
I have a view from my front window. There are people at the beach every day year round from 6 a.m. until dark. We need a facility to accommodate them. Not just toilets.
