Letter: Great teaching, like music, connects generations
To the editor:
Sometimes teenagers will surprise you – the clothes they wear, the music they listen to, the haircuts and colors, their lingo: who knows what they are talking about half the time?
Teenagers have their own energy and the language of their generation doesn’t translate most of the time. What influences these kids?
A few years ago I was occasionally working as a substitute teacher at Lake City Lincoln High School and one day I was assigned to the art department.
