Letter: Home sought for exchange student
To the editor:
The Lake City Rotary once again has been approved to sponsor an incoming exchange student who will be arriving in January 2016. Rahul Gopal is from Gramstown, South Africa, and enjoys studying, math, science and has an interest in medicine. Rahul also enjoys sports and plays hockey. Rahul says he comes from a very small town of Gramstown, population of 70,000. We think he may not know what a really small town is. Rahul will stay in Lake City for about a year and go to school in the spring and then again in the fall of 2016.
