Letter: So many reasons to oppose lane change

To the editor:
The Highway 61 scoping study is on the Lake City website. Look at it and make your decision from the facts.
No one has any evidence about Highway 61 being a two lane through Lake City. (two through lanes of traffic is two lanes, not three.) We all know how it works in it’s current four lane configuration. It works pretty well and it’s pretty safe. Any problems could be solved with much simpler solutions, signing, striping and enforcement.
