Letter: Team, band and fans did former superintendent proud
To the editor:
My family and I had the opportunity to cheer the Lake City High School boys basketball team during a couple of games at the recent state tournament.
It meant a lot to us to see our student-athletes play with such joy, grit, and energy. We also enjoyed watching our coaches take so much pride in our team. The Tiger band only added to a great atmosphere.
Most impressive, however, was the huge turnout from the community to encourage and support our team. That was the best part.
