Last Monday’s Memorial Day Service was, for me, as meaningful as any I had ever attended. Everyone participating, especially all veterans, those no longer living and those who are no longer physically with “us” more than earned the recognition.

Initially I was disappointed the program was to be held inside, instead of outside in Patton Park. I left the recent program realizing the lack of distractions associated with holding the program outside, were part of the reason last week’s program resonated as it did with me.
