Momisms heard growing up

My mother’s name was Inger. She passed away in April of 2001 at age 86. She was a Danish farm wife who, besides having to keep three guys in the household fed and clothed, could occasionally be found on a tractor doing field work until Dwight and I grew up.

She was not enthralled with cooking, but no one complained. She did love dancing to the old-time music and playing the organ during church services. Even at just a tich over five feet she was a large presence in our lives then and even now.
