Ohl: Fit to be tied
I haven’t worn a necktie for many years. However, from 1966 through 2003 I wore one every workday as a teacher and then as a seminar speaker. I have kept them all, the narrow, the wide, the plain and the colorful. The total comes to 37 ties. Certain ones were favorites and remind me of places around the country where I did “my thing.” A couple of them were joke ties that I could only wear in the privacy of my home.
