Pepie, the Lake Pepin monster
I’m interested in starting a regular column sharing the rich lore of our local area. I’ve always been a storyteller at heart and recently thought to myself, what could be more fun than sharing the many stories this area has to offer? There are some ideas I already have in mind, but I would love the help of our readers in coming up with more. Historical accounts, local legends, generational tales, ghost stories, etc… anything that helps capture the magic of living here are possibilities.
