Pets and fireworks

More pets are reported missing after the 4th of July fireworks celebrations than any time of the year, not only in our area, but nationwide as well.
Unfortunately, your fireworks enjoyment is not shared by your furry companions.
In a panic, they will run away and look for a place to hide, and then become lost as they try to escape the unexpected and random flashing lights and noise.
