Pickleball is for all ages
I am writing to question some inconsistencies contained in the March 18 article entitled, “Council pickleball offer follows recent trend.” The article describes how pickleball is played and that courts are required. Tennis courts can be used and the courts in Lake City were a welcome benefit for all ages to acquire new athletic skills.
As Mayor Nichols stated, those who participate in pickleball definitely feel that the courts are being taken away, because they are. They are becoming a parking lot.
