It was the 70’s and I was a high school teacher in Caledonia. I also was a member of the fire department and the four-person ambulance crew as a 1970’s EMT. Many people know them as the first person they see after saying, “Hold my beer and watch this.” I was also a certified first aid instructor and did Red Cross training programs for area fire departments.
